We aim to make outdoor education accessible to all children and allow them the space and freedom to learn through play. Our Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum is the foundation for future success, building creative, independent and confident thinkers.
As a forest school and outdoor nursery in Morden, we spend as much of the day as possible outside — in every season and almost every kind of weather. Set inside Morden Recreation Ground, with our own large private garden, children have room to run, climb, balance, explore and discover the natural world at their own pace. Many mornings begin with a nature walk, noticing how the seasons change week to week.
Our approach blends the self-directed learning and practical life skills of Montessori education with the gentle, seasonal rhythm of Waldorf education. We are a screen-free setting, because we believe young children learn most through movement, nature and real human connection. Following the principles of Aware Parenting, we support children to understand and manage their feelings rather than relying on punishments or rewards.
Whether your child is with us for a full day or a half day, our warm, attentive team helps every child feel safe, understood and valued — growing in confidence as part of our small Morden community.
