Our Approach to Baby Care

  • First and foremost, routines are kept flexible to accommodate individual nap schedules, feeding needs and comfort requirements.
  • In addition, we create individual care plans for each baby so every child receives truly personalised attention.
  • Furthermore, sensory and creative activities are rotated weekly to keep engagement, curiosity and development high.
  • As part of our outdoor philosophy, we go outside every day — fresh air and nature are central to everything we do.
  • Moreover, our nursery is completely screen-free and uses reduced plastic throughout.
  • Finally, all meals are organic, wholesome and free from refined sugar and excessive salt.

Our Toddlers and Pre-School children stay together as one group and follow the same daily routine. In good weather — particularly in summer — children spend the entire day outside in our private fenced garden or Morden Recreation Ground. All activities including circle time, lunch, crafts and play happen outdoors. In cooler or wet weather, we move activities inside, but we always aim to get outside for at least part of every day.
